Wintonsweek We Don’t Have To Wait For Next Muslim Extremist Outrage Give Security Services Wherewithal to Track Down The Enemy Insist On Koran Reform, Only Cleansed, English Version Allowed Outrageously, Government Ignored Tape Of Khan’s Bomb Making Arrogant BBC Censors Finsbury Park Mosque Truth From “24” The report last week which white-washed the government’s responsibility for the July 7, 2005 Muslim extremist outrage, inspired much hand-wringing and mealy-mouthed apology. There was talk about how another attack is inevitable because many British Muslims are being radicalised. The entire tone from those that rule over us was of dumb impotence. If you doubted the whitewash, today’s Sunday Times will put you straight, with its report that Mohammad Khan was caught by MI5 on tape talking about building a bomb and slinging his hook to Pakistan. MI5, incredibly and irresponsibly, failed to follow this up. The tape was withheld from the parliamentary committee “investigating” July 7. Presumably, this is another triumph of Charles Clarke’s Home Office leadership. If ever there was a reason for a government to fall, allowing a known bomber to escape surveillance and murder 52 innocents would, in a sane world, would be a given. But for some reason, however egregious a Labour failure, it can shrug its shoulders as though nothing has happened. But we don’t just have to sit back and wait for the next atrocity. Labour must be forced to act. Firstly, our intelligence services must be given all the money required to penetrate the Muslim community and root out the mindless, cruel radicals. If a Muslim radical is taped saying he is making a bomb, please assume that he’s not joking. There is another, proactive step that should also be taken, and this involves the powers-that-be putting aside their rose-tinted glasses, and taking action that will inevitably whip up a fire-storm of angst from British Muslim Leaders. The government must acknowledge that the loosely written medieval Koran does allow mindless, cruel, extremist Muslims to justify terrorism; the government must use its power to put an end to this by insisting that the Koran used in British mosques is modernised, and texts which can justify terrorism expunged. The accepted version will only be in English. I’ll give you on example of the loose wording which allows for wicked interpretation. This is the Koran on murder “whoever killed a human being, except as punishment for murder or other villainy in the land, shall be regarded as having killed all mankind”. It wouldn’t take much imagination for a mad Mullah to use the italicised weasel words of that sentence to justify murdering innocents who were considered, as British citizens, to be parties to the government’s action in Iraq (you know; the action to liberate Iraqis from the bestial dictator Saddam, return the country to freedom and the rule of law, and fight off attacks from the mindless and cruel suicide bombers financed by the mad Mahmoud Afterdinnerjacket’s Iran). And it’s not just the Koran’s attitude to murder that allows extremist Muslims to justify actions that are anathema to our long established principles of freedom of speech and our liberal institutions. The Koran directs Muslims to exploit women, in marriage, work and education. Its attitude to justice often is at odds with western tradition. Try committing adultery in a Muslim state, if you’re a women that is, or being the totally innocent victim of a rape in Gaza. Islam’s attitude to other religions is repellent to a nation with a live-and-let-live philosophy. Islam is often at odds with many of our hard-won freedoms and attitudes. Unless this is recognised by our government, we will never solve the problem of the enemy within. The government and the state controlled BBC are in denial over this. The Labour party is so frightened of being seen as hard on extremist Muslims (despite the potential terrorism carnage), it has sought to ingratiate itself by talking up outrages like the merits of segregated education for Muslims. The BBC regularly censors its news bulletins. For instance, when gruesome murders are committed by Muslims in Chechnya, all mention of Islam is taken out of the script. So frightened is the BBC of the truth about fanatical Muslims, it even censors drama. The former Tory MP Tim Collins said on BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions on Friday that the BBC had taken it upon itself to cleanse the U.S. terrorist drama “24”, which had dared to include the truth about the Finsbury Park mosque being a centre of terrorist indoctrination. “The BBC cut that line out,” said Collins. Who, I wonder, at the BBC decided to do this? Were they doing this on our behalf, as simpletons and dopes, who can’t be trusted with the truth? (I await an answer from the BBC to my questions on this). On Saturday, The Muslim Council Of Great Britain tried, ludicrously, to assure us that there is no activity in British Mosques which could lead to terrorism. I beg to differ, not least because we learned last week that September 11 co-conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui, came under the influence of extreme Islamists during his stay in London. Not a million miles from the Finsbury Park mosque I’m sure, but the BBC won’t let on. If Islam is to be practised in Britain, our government must insist that it is purged of medieval content, which is often alien to our own hard-won democracy and values. The government must insist on a revised, modern Koran. It must be written in English. All Islamist organisations which sign up to this modernised text will be allowed to practise their religion. Those which don’t will not be allowed to operate. “Foreign Policy” Justifies Extremist Muslim Violence You only have to think about this for a minute to realise that it is bunkum. The likes of Clarke, and Liberal Democrat leader Men Ziz Campbell and many on the left of the Labour party, are saying that regular Muslims are outraged by the liberation of Iraq from the relentless cruelty of Saddam Hussein; they are saying that regular Muslims can’t bear the thought that the current Iraqi leadership is trying desperately hard to set up a relatively open system of government which will allow free speech and the rule of law; they are saying Muslims support the bloodthirsty use of suicide bombers to kill and maim innocent Iraqis. The likes of Clarke and Campbell are saying that Muslims in Britain support this? I simply don’t believe that this is true. If it was true, that wouldn’t say much for our Muslim fellow citizens. The trouble is that organisations like the Muslim Council of Great Britain make a lot of noise claiming to speak for Muslim citizens. I doubt if the Muslim citizenry is happy with this. Sadly, it is difficult to find out what they really think. But I bet the Muslims on our streets support a policy which toppled the evil Saddam, want an open society in Iraq, and a fight against the evil suicide bombers. Sven Reveals All By Picking Untried Walcott Sven has picked a player who has never played one game in the Premier League. The likes of Dean Ashton, who showed his class as a player and team-member in Saturday’s Cup Final, must be devastated. Sven is so desperate to be loved, he was willing to jeopardise the team’s performance in Germany by picking a player that would allow the media to label the Swede as an adventurous coach. Grandstanding, overpaid nitwit, more like. Thos of us who watched England lose to Brazil in the last World Cup know all about Sven. He behaved like a rabbit in the headlights when he was forced to change his tactics to face 10-men. Sven had no idea what to do. He panicked. England lost. Sven has been suckered by Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger talking up of Walcott. Faster than Thierry Henry, we are told. So is my cat Tash. Wenger must be chuckling that as a Frenchman, he has contributed to perhaps a fatal weakening of England’s World Cup squad. I’ll take all this back if Walcott plays more than 5 minutes in the Champion’s League final in Paris. No chance of that of course, unless the mysterious Spurs virus somehow makes it to Paris.
